What does one wear to a Take That concert!?

Am thinking stylish, ironic, not too muttony try hard?!!

you need to be thinking comfortable shoes and temperature control

I went to see them 2 years ago. I wore:

Converse
skinny jeans
white vest
navy slouchy sweater (tied around my waist for duration of gig)
cotton scarf

If I were going now, in this heat, I would probably wear a maxi or a simple cotton sundress with a cardi for when I leave the stadium.

Don't forget to take a lightweight waterproof with you too.

I agree with tulpe, it's all about comfort! I went 2 years ago on a baking hot day & wore a vest, jeans & flip flops. It was a bit chilly when we left so this year I'll be wearing the same but will take a cardigan for the journey home.

Am aware of the connotations, not my normal Friday night activity but still want to look the part!!'

I'm going for comfort tomorrow night. Trainers, jeans or white skinnies, take-that t-shirt with a jumper in case it gets cold and a lightweight waterproof rolled up in my bag.

I went to see them last Wednesday and my outfit was:

Comfy jeans
Comfy trainers
Vest top
T-Shirt
Hoody (layers to be removed/put on when required)

Hoody was essential at the end as it got a bit nippy out.

Also, lightweight rainmac or cheap plastic poncho. Was very glad of these as it utterly poured down the entire concert.

Oh I'm going on Friday but whats all this talk of trainers - I have a seat and am in hotel close by.

I will either be in a jersey dress or jeans and a nice top if cool.

Tena ladies as the queues for loos obscene and you wouldn't want to miss a moment... though not sure I could eugh....

I wore jeans and a t shirt and ballet pumps. But it was normal weather and not this !

MrsCB I'm going on Friday too. Friend managed to get me last minute seated tickets.

I wore jeans, trainers, a jumper and a raincoat....it was Manchester a couple of weeks ago so it was cold and very wet Not stylish in any way but it did the trick

this year i wore skinny black trousers and ballet pumps, black top and warm winter jacket. i was v chilly at first (sunderland) but after standing up and dancing throughout the set i was v warm and glowing by the end! there were a few girls in dresses and heels but they looked absolutely daft and had given up and bought cagoules by the time TT came on. most people dressed as if for saturday afternoon shopping trip

I wore a 'nice' top (think sunday afternoon at the pub) with jeans and very comfortable, low heeled boots. My feet were agony, and my legs too! Scarf would have been perfect for warmth without bulk. Wee waterproof excellent idea.

Definitely trainers.

You will feel so smug as you look around at the ridiculous fash sported by people who clearly thought they were going to meet TT rather than watch them from a relative distance

I would absolutely never wear trainers to anywhere but the gym.

I am really looking forward to it as having a childfree couple of days in London with my sister.

And I am not all cool in my musical tastes - rushes to book Dolly P tickets [serious though]

Depends on the travel and seat arrangements I guess.

Public transport and/or standing: Comfort
Driving and seated: Can be as stylish as you want I guess, but if your going to see the warmups as well, you might want to go for the comfort route too.

Just walking from th stadium to the car park could be a possibility of cold and rain
