I don't do shorts so cropped pants are as good as it gets but have read on here that they are best avoided , but why??

they can be unflattering but not a faux pas. depends on build but a smart pair can be very chic with a nice flat pump.

Flat pumps are good! I can definitely do flat pumps

I think capri trousers never date, they are a wardrobe summer staple for me, but only in black or chino coloured

I think cropped trousers are great to wear smart casual, they are versatile and can be worn day or evening (depending on where you are going)

I had a nice pair from Gap but they need replacing. I tried Gap again but the material feels quite hard so would be uncomfortable to wear all day. Not sure where sells them. Perhaps someone can recommend??
