Going to a wedding next month-need ideas re what to do with my hair

Anyone?
Dress is maxi-quite slinky material with capped sleeves. My hair is below shoulders and can wear it curly or straight. I dont want a hat or fascinator, just a simple flower so any ideas would be HUGELY appreciated as I am rubbish at these things!

If you search for on Youtube you'll find literally hundreds to trawl through. It became a competitor to MN for me last week as I had a ball to go to.
I never normally put my hair up as it's slippery and always falls out, but I managed a presentable updo which was still in place when I got home.
Luckily, the deliberately messy ones seem to be in vogue atm!
