Rosacea - what moisturiser?

Does anyone suffer from rosacea and if so what do you use for moisturiser, if anything?

I've been using Liz Earle for a few years as it's about the only thing my skin can tolerate, but even so I still have flare ups. I ran out recently and thought I'd see how I go using nothing for a while. My skin seems less red using no creams at all, but is now dry because I'm not moisturising it.

What do you use?

My son had it and used to use Dr Brandt products, which seemed to work well.

You poor thing Clarence15, I used to have terrible roseacea so I can completely sympathise. I found some light moisturiser by Avene (in Boots) was good, esp if I kept it in the fridge. Didn't irritate too much at all.

In the past I have used aloe vera gel which is in a big tube from health shops. Its cheap, is really moisturising and cooling and can help control it a little bit too depending how bad it is. I used this when I was pregnant and couldn't use my normal tablets and gels.

I am using Nutrasea fish oils and my roseacea has really calmed down and my nails are amazing!!

If that helps.
