I know it's only a temporary thing but which eye creams give the best instant lift? Got me some terrible eye bags I want to try and do something with until I can get a decent night's sleep!

Ooh I want to know this too. I want a cream which makes a 36 year old look 21 again. Know ye of such a cream, anyone?

The cat woke me at 5.40am. Does that count?

Jazzicatz · 24/06/2011 07:26

Clinique is very very good and really does work wonders!

ggirl · 24/06/2011 08:59

well for an instant moisturiser that will hide dryness and make look plumper I would recommend mac instant eye cream
you need to pat it on
brilliant stuff

headfairy · 24/06/2011 11:04

ooh ggirl... does it live up to the blurb? It sounds very impressive. I was thinking something with caffeine, I know they're supposed to be good. I've got the most ginormous eye bags right now... dd's doing her best to make me look every one of my (almost) 41 years :(

I need to add a postscript here: what's the best eyecream crucially that's under £10? Grin

headfairy · 24/06/2011 11:08

well aries, that would suit me well too, but the way I'm looking at the moment I would probably shell out £22 for the Mac one if someone would swear an oath in blood that it will rid me (if only for a few hours) of these eye bags :o

A bit out of budget but my sister recently gave me some of that strivectin cream for stretch marks. Apparantly when it first came out people were misreading it putting it around their eyes and had miraculous results. They now have the same cream but without the minty smell especially for eyes.

Have to say I am still awaiting the miracle but my skin had definitely improved and I am loosing some of the crows feet.

headfairy · 24/06/2011 11:37

Initially I thought no way Solihull.... I know the face cream sells for about £80 but the eye cream isn't a stupid price Still quite expensive though...

Get thee self down to TKmaxx.

My sis bought a pack of 3x50ml creams for £39.99 from there the other day, hence the reason for giving me one !

(not sure if they had the eye cream though ....)

headfairy · 24/06/2011 12:02

Grr no TXMaxx nearby :( It's going to have to be Mac isn't it? And I know I can't go in to Mac and just buy one thing.. I always get talked in to buying something else.

headfairy · 24/06/2011 12:43

I had heard that eyethangyou... does it actually work on eye bags?

OP posts:
headfairy · 24/06/2011 15:49

ggirl, thanks for the top tip, I get a 15%discount in Mac (didn't realise that) through work, so it made the fact I had to queue to get in a bit more bearable!
