How the bloody hell do I completely unblock my pores?

Across my nose/cheeks close to nose, I have open and slightly blocked pores. I exfoliate my face 3 times per week, and use a branded deep pore cleansing wash twice daily, as well as using a deep pore cleanser every night. My skin feels lovely and smooth, and looks perfect with a bit of concealer - but strip that away and it's just pores pores pores. I'd love to be able to wear no make up at all, but they just do not seem to completely unblock and tighten up no matter how much I try!

Help please? :(

This thread reminds me of a Victoria Wood sketch, when her and a similarly orange-faced cosmetic counter colleague said to a customer: "What you need for those pores isn't toner; it's some pink darning wool."

right! sticky bits are from wilkies, they cost 97p and they are brilliant. you wet your nose, apply sticky bit, let them dry and then pull off, you can see the blackheads and blockages on the strip :)

I agree with zlaya - Liz Earle products are top notch.
I'm 36, have 'struggled' with pores for years chopping and changing products and treatments every few months to try and find the one that works. And then I did ... LE has totally sorted me out and 3 years later I've not even been tempted to try anything else. Can't praise em enough (can you tell?)

Mildmannderedtwunt which LE products do you use? Have used the cleanse and polish in the past and loved it, but am keen to know about pore shrinking miracle products Grin

I have oily skin with a lot of sebaceous filaments (those little grey dots, they're like blackheads but not? those are sebaceous filaments) all over my cheeks, nose, and forehead. They are the bane of my life. I hate them. I use the Citrus Clear BlackHead Mask now and it keeps them under control and stops them from looking quite so crater-like.

The results have been fantastic for me. I do the Citrus Clear Blackhead Mask before I go to bed once a week and my skin looks clearer and brighter and my pores appear tighter the next morning, and any redness is dramatically reduced, plus my sebaceous filaments look smaller, paler, and more even. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it to people with drier skin though, or using it more than twice a week especially if you're adding apple cider vinegar or other astringents to it.
