Really? because it puts me in mind of one of those wee bags you use to put washing powder in.sorry.

"Mesh cape"? Hmm

Actually it looks nicer than the name suggests, and it's not a cape at all.

ilove · 22/06/2011 19:10

Honestly - it is lovely!

laundry net

WherecanIhide · 22/06/2011 19:14

Looks like lots of holes sewn together.

Glad you like it - doesn't matter what we think

blossomtrees · 22/06/2011 19:20

hackett

CybilsLiberty · 22/06/2011 19:26

Yes I can imagine that

But I prefer the tan colour personallement

ilove · 22/06/2011 19:34

It isn't a cape, it has sleeves - it is heavy not flimsy, and nothing like a laundry net Shock

I wanted white to go over strappy dresses, but I am tempted by the tan one too!

RichTeaAreCrap · 22/06/2011 19:49

the tan one would look nice with a top under it and jeans.

Soups · 22/06/2011 21:22

I like it, there's quite a few things like that on the high street a the moment.

TrilllianAstra · 22/06/2011 21:24

I'd hope you'd wear a top under it RichTea! :o

trumpton · 22/06/2011 21:29

Or her nippules might poke out !!

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 22/06/2011 21:33

Oh dear; don't like that at all. Sorry but it reminds me of those awful day-glo string vests that people wore in the eighties.

animula · 22/06/2011 21:47

I quite like it. I had something similar (in black, longer sleeves, holes slightly diff.) from Benetton in the early 90s and it was my favourite piece of knitwear ever. It was versatile. So "neeerrr" to the haters!!

KurriKurri · 22/06/2011 21:52

I like it OP, -it looks lovely, I love those sort of capey/poncho sort of styles - very easy to wear.
