Help! Major eyebrow disaster!

I've just had my eyebrows tinted for the first time. I just don't like them! My hair is sort of blondish brown and my eyebrows are now almost black. I look really strange and severe.

What can I do?

can I go back to the salon and get them lightened?

Should I wear a paper bag?

It's my birthday at the weekend and I'm going to look like a wally Sad

Yes, Katie Price actually did the HD brow training.

Like you, as a MUA I don't think this style is for everyone but it is quite helpful to know about shaping brows to suit different face shapes etc. It works particularly well for a retro style, and I guess for "Glamour" too (which is not my preferred look but quite popular nevertheless). If I trim the brows I usually cut into them to make them look natural if there are ones that droop - rarely straight across unless I am aiming for a particular look. And yes, it's the perfect treatment for brow casualties.

HavingKittens, what do you do with any Dennis Healey type eyebrow hairs? Do you pluck them out regardless of where they appear or would you trim them? I ask because I get the occasional really long hair and never know quite what to do about them so end up plucking. Sorry for hijack OP. Hope you're getting used to your brows now.

Neuroticmum I would recommend a small pointed pair of scissors and a clean mascara wand or brow comb. Start by brushing the hairs upwards towards your forehead and then go in from the top with the scissors and individually trim an long hairs that protrude from the natural shape. Then brush them downwards and do the same to any that hang down. Then brush them back into place.
