Another bargain stripey dress - Tesco this time

Tried it on in shop and it's great. The black stripe is in a perfect position for the optical illusion of a small waist.

Ends just above the knee (5' 5") and the under arm holes are a bit on the big side (I'm small up top) but I can fix that with my sewing machine

Ooh it looks like it would make for a slim waist, that's for sure...

I got that half price in their flash sale. And I was sooooo p'd off to find I could have used a voucher code on top, bringing it down to a swingeing £4!

Dammit I didn't know about the flash sale. I feel your pain though, I found a voucher for £7 off when I got home, grrr

Yes there's lots in the same shape once you get your eye in! I got this one too which is a lot nicer in real life.

Flash sale???How does one find out about flash sales?

How is their sizing? I'm between a 12 and 14.

Really don't want to try it on in our local store. 'Tis nasty.

I'm not sure how you find aout about flash sales, but I went in last Friday and there was a flash sale - half price on all kids clothes - lots of posters/merchandising up in store. Never seen any warning of it and not sure it happens online

Sizing is on the generous side of realistic ie: 10 comes up quite big but not massive. You can always buy without trying on and return it HappyAsIAm

i would rather buy a really nice make like Lk Benett etc for £18 etc in charity shop

I've got the yellow one - £9 in the flash sale. It looks great on, very flattering, and no-one believed it was from Tesco as looks much more expensive.
