We are going to a black tie affair in a few weeks, my DSS wants to wear a tux but I hate young boys looking like little men, he has a great tux, black shoels with red skulls on them, which sound very loud but their not.

I think a white shire of some kind but not dinner shirt, some kind of tshirt perhaps? We have tried with a loose fitting linen shirt but he didnt like it.

Please you style icons help me :)

Black shirt went down well with my little horror!

He doesnt really want to wear a proper shirt, apparently its not cool. The suit looks great with a white t shirt underneath but for this occasion its not really appropriate, I suppose Im looking for something midway.

ooh yes black shirt v v g

or some kind of loudly patterned one??

CMOTdibbler · 22/06/2011 09:36

if its a black tie do, then he has to wear a formal shirt - black at a pinch, but it needs a collar and tie

It is a black tie charity do but the boys under about 14 tend to wear less formal shirts, so not strictly the correct etiquette but very much accepted by all.

He really doesnt want to wear a collared shirt, but I think your all right, I cant really find anything else.
