BODEN PREVIEW- RAINY DAY MAC or velvet coat?

Anyone got the rainy day mac? can you advise on size? I am between an 8 & 10 but find Boden coats a bit small usually.

Thinking of ordering in preview but also toying with velvet coat which I know won't be warm.

Velvet will be rubbish in the rain ... I tend to size up with Boden, but then I am not the classic British shape and like my upper half to be more "roomy".

I was looking at the tweed coat but it's quite dressy.

I am tempted by the velvet this year. I am between 8-10 in Boden and always size up as I find them incredibly snug across the shoulders.

Please could I but in and ask opinions on the perfect cosy parka - tulpe I'm going to size up too as have same problem as you. I got a rainy day mac a few years ago in 14 instead of 12 and it is perfect over jumpers etc. The Velvet Coats are smart but less practical and are more fitted.
