greasy hair dry scalp

I have a problem with greasy hair. It became worse following an operation 3 months ago. It is now coupled with a dry flakey scalp also. I used to be able to shampoo hair every other day but it now seems to need shampooing daily. Can anyone give me advice on how to resolve it? I would be grateful as it looks awful at times. thanks anyone out there who can help.

you might just have to get used to doing it every day. I have always had too, since I was a teenager (I am 42), but use gentle shampoo and only a little bit. Only shampoo your scalp, and only condition the ends.

yes Ive read that. Just have to shampoo it daily then. I dont condition because it makes my hair greasier and lank. thanks for the tip
