My sandals smell - what am I supposed to do?

I have two pairs of v comfy leather sandals. Both are a bit cheesy smelling tbh. My feet aren't. What should I do to the shoes? It's not over powering or unpleasanht - just normal feetlike but surely you can do something?

How about sprinkling some bicarb of soda onto the inner bits and leaving them for a day or so....you should be able to just brush the excess off and then give them a wipe over with a damp cloth.....

I have no basis for this suggestion, but bicarb works to get the smell out the fridge so I was just wondering if it might work on your sandals.....

wet wipes or wash with a soapy j cloth?

Baby wipes work well.

Do the above then stick then in the freezer for a few days :)

I just chuck them in the washing machine.

(if they're not mega cheapy ones,in which case they might just disintegrate.)
