Please help me! I'm being so indecisive about sandals. What do you think of these?

I tired these on the other day and I think they look better irl - the colour is much deeper and rich. Do you think they would go with skinnies and dresses?

I mean it 'tried' them on but I am also 'tired' of looking for sandals!

They are lovely, think will go well with Jeans/trousers and probably maxi skirts/dresses. Not so sure about short dresses??

culturevulture · 16/06/2011 11:57

Thank you Smile

I have found them on Very for £35.00 which makes them pretty reasonable too.

they are lovely

culturevulture · 16/06/2011 12:00

Oh phew, I'm so glad others like them too. I think i've lost the ability to distinguish between frumpy and nice.

NewChoos · 16/06/2011 12:01

Very nice colour too!

culturevulture · 16/06/2011 12:03

Please keep the comments coming! I'm almost convinced Smile

Sorry no they are horrible and will give you cankles.

valiumredhead · 16/06/2011 13:53

I think they are lovely but will only stay looking lovely once on if you have slim ankles/legs.

cybbo · 16/06/2011 13:58

I think the anklestrap is very unforgiving looking, and too thick

why woudl you want to make your legs look shorter?

I agree about the cankles. I have very skinny ankles, but even I would shy away from those.
Sorry.

Fimbo · 16/06/2011 14:16

I don't like ankle straps with skinny jeans - sorry.

polyhymnia · 16/06/2011 14:20

I think the ankle straps are too thick and the shoes generally not horrible, but not exciting either.

noddyholder · 16/06/2011 18:59

She might have long skinny legs like me {and fish and alexa chung]

FebreezeYourJeans · 16/06/2011 19:02

There is no way I could wrap a fat band around my ankles, long skinny legs I have no experience of [sigh] so maybe they will work for you.

MissBeehiving · 16/06/2011 19:11

I think they're very nice but will need you to have delicate ankles and skinny legs.

bleedingheartlefty · 16/06/2011 19:44

I tried those on yesterday. I love them.

culturevulture · 16/06/2011 19:47

I don't have very skinny or long legs, my ankles are not too bad.

I have bought them and they look good I think. I was worried about the strap cutting my legs short but they don't seem to. I just need to try them on with some different things to really decide.

They're clumpy - and if you have delicate/slim ankles they won't show them off, will just look weird. Delicate frame = pretty, delicate styles.

culturevulture · 16/06/2011 21:17

I don't have a slim delicate frame and do tend to go for sandals that are bit more 'chunky' otherwise they feel too delicate for me.

HappyAsIAm · 16/06/2011 21:21

I think they're nice. But I think a few sandals in Clarks this season are nice, which puts me in the minority on here!

ggirl · 16/06/2011 22:53

if you have loong slim legs then they'll look nice

neuroticmumof3 · 17/06/2011 16:28

you're right OP they look a lot better in RL. Saw a woman wearing them in Waitrose today with a just below knee length skirt and they looked great. She did have very skinny ankles! Wish I did.
