Strutter · 15/06/2011 19:30

cybbo · 15/06/2011 20:20

yes playdough heels are very comfy! Miles comfier than slaaaag shoes.

but they look like Sindy shoes they are so plastic imagine these in brown

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2011 20:23

It was Mrs Jigsaw who started kew and she's now doing the Bluebird shop so suspect she's taken her eye off the ball and its all very dullsville.

Do like jigsaw though and they've got some nice stuff including things in actual colours recently.

Strutter - has your frock not arrived yet? I'm on tenterhooks.

noddyholder · 15/06/2011 20:47

I would like the bag too am sitting on my hands I just can't!

noddyholder · 15/06/2011 22:07

I think its lovely

Fimbo · 16/06/2011 09:54

I nearly bought \link{http://www.riverisland.com/online/women/shoes--boots/heels/brown-buckle-sandals-601582\these} at the weekend. They are much nicer in rl.

katkitya · 16/06/2011 10:01

They are nice but, I wouldnt beable to walk in them.

Jigsaw and Kew are worse than Boden, and thats saying something. Boring and overpriced. I know the one in Brent Cross gets no customers which is why they are all over you as soon as you walk through the door. I think the nail in the coffin was when they opened Bananna Republic next door. Mind you, thats another shop I wonder how it is actually doing as it has constantly got sales on. Maybe thats an American thing though.

Fimbo · 16/06/2011 10:03

I have only ever been in Banana Republic on Oxford Street. Could only afford to buy socks for my dad!

moragbellingham · 16/06/2011 14:07

Fimbo - if you wait and check daily, the sales price fluctuate on BR site.
Got tons of stuff at Xmas for 20% of the original price (good stuffWink not hideous tat either).
I like the "Judith" bag but am always worried about not having a zip on my bag to thwart potential purse nickers....

Fimbo · 16/06/2011 14:15

Ahh good tip MB, thanks.

cybbo · 16/06/2011 14:57

Ok , Ok this is all well and good but should I buy the skinned Judith Chalmers bag?

EldonAve · 16/06/2011 16:12

No it looks like a charity shop bag

strawberryjelly · 16/06/2011 18:11

They are part of Jigsaw so doubt if going bust- would be reabsorbed into Jigsaw assume?

lost their way i think over past 5 years- used to buy lots but all very frumpy now.

katkitya · 16/06/2011 19:30

I would be very surprised if Jigsaw is making a profit. I dont know anyone who shops there, its the same thing every year. Like Monsoon.
