I am off on holiday in three weeks and dont want to scare people with my lily white legs....I thought about a spray tan, but a friend had a bad experience and that's put me off!!!

So can anyone recommend a really good self tanner? I have been looking at the gradual st tropez one, has anyone used it?

Thanks!

I like the Dove one myself.
St Tropez good but around £12 whereas Dove around £6 and very often on offer at half price.

I also like the Dove one. Don't buy the Johnsons one - it is very very streaky. The Dove gives a lovely even glow. You can also get it in a light tan, as well as the darker tan option, which is very natural if you are blonder or not the tanning sort.

I have recently started using the Garnier one - Summerbody I think it's called - and it's great. Have even managed to get even coverage on my legs and feet which are the usual trouble spots. Also it needs only one or two applications. That said, I've gone for the dark one even though I'm quite fair because otherwise I find you can be going for days without seeing much change.

St Tropez, its idiot proof.

I shave, exfoliate, moisturise 24hrs before, apply St Tropez overnight, shower the next morning and alternate moisturiser with St Tropez each night.

Works like a dream and its a lovely colour on us lily whiteys!

thought i would reinvigorate this thread - any more recommendations this summer, or is St Tropez everyday still the best option?

St Tropez the best for me, but only buy when feeling flush! Garnier Summer Body all the way for me the rest of the time though.
