What do rollers do for your hair??

I'm watching hollyoaks and all the girls have got rollers in, do they give you volume and a slight curl?

I have never used them before, will they work well with layered hair as well?

Any tips would be appreciated Smile

Those big ones you see people wearing give more volume than they do curl. What they do really is make you look like you've had a good blowdry without actually having a good blowdry.

They give root lift and make your hair "sit" nicely in the right kind of direction like its just a really good hair day quite by accident.

Particularly good with layers.

I find them a lot of faff for what I could achieve with a round brush and hairdryer though, so I dont use them but they are a good place to start if you are wanting a bit of juz.
