i have to work at a black tie event on Friday. I will be wearing high shoes and standing a lot. Do those party feet work? Or does anyone have any top tips for preventing sore feet.

I've heard....that spraying your heels-and any other bits likely to blister-with spray deodorant works.

Also, H&M do these very teeny little bags with flat pumps folded away inside for a few pounds, you can slip it into your bag and whack em on the second you get out of the place.

Worth a try, eh??

Spray on plasters works better than deodorant on blister bits (also you can get moleskin that you can cut and stick in shoes on bad pressure points).

Those foot pads do make things a bit easier but don't completely get rid of heel pain. Agree re change of shoe if you have to walk/ travel to venue.
