Yikes! Don't know which to order. I don't have wide feet, pretty standard. One Amazon review says the regular are really wide. What does anyone have please and I'll take my chances and go with the flow!!

Thanks

I have a couple of pairs. I pick my normal size. I have narrow feet and have regular fittings, no problem.

I have narrow fitting ones and I much prefer the look. They hug the foot better. I've actually got quite square feet.

the narrow ones are almost impossible to buy on the highstreet but tk maxx has both so if you have one nearby you could go in and try them on. I have the narrow ones and found regular to be really big, narrow are so much better

How do you know which you have? I have Madrids, size 41 on the last hole. I'm actually a 42 fat foot (ee), but the 42s were too big.

P.S. There's a helpful review on the following Amazon link.

www.amazon.co.uk/Birkenstock-Sandals-Madrid-Birko-Flor-regular/dp/B003048W9E/ref=sr_1_3?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1307912372&sr=1-3

I have quite wide feet and regular fits me well.

Millie1 · 12/06/2011 22:21

Ixia - that's the review I read which made me question whether regular would be too wide.

Go for narrow fitting and try here for them: www.footshopping.com

If you want to know which you have, look at the footbed. There is a picture of a foot on it. If this is in a block colour, then it's narrow fitting. If it's an outline, then you have regular fitting. I have both and the narrow look much neater.

I am in France and you can only get the narrow fitting here (and no clothes above size 12 usually, either...)

Ixia · 12/06/2011 22:50

Ah, I have narrow fitting then. If they fit me (and in a smaller size) then I suspect the narrow will fit anybody. My feet are too wide for normal Clarks.

Glad I don't live in France - it's not just my feet that are wide Grin
