IPL hair removal on your face

Thinking of buying one of the IPL machines to use at home. Anyone any experience of using them on your face?
Some brands say not suitable for face and some do.

I wouldn't waste your money. Better to spend it on a good salon treatment. These machines will weaken the hair but not totally kill the folicle off. Facial hair is often more difficult to treat than body hair as well.

Gah was hoping you wouldn't say that. I have over £100 in Boots points so was going to use that.

Will look into salon treatment though, thanks.
