but if you try it - it just gives you the answers for each type one after the other - not specific to you !

For example if you say short - it says wear narrow legged trousers to make your legs look longer.

If you say fat thighs, or big bum it says do NOT wear narrow legs.

So - what do you wear if you are short and fat - that isn't really an uncommon combination

oh bum !

no real surprise - clothes are not generally designed to suit short dumpy people

Yes I see what you mean throckenholt. For instance, I have broad shoulders but small breasts. If you have broad shoulders you should avoid spaghetti straps but small boobs you should wear spaghetti straps. So which should I do?

Actually this is a real issue for me because I find a lot of clothes, especially jackets, blouses etc - if they fit across the shoulders they gape at the front.

I know, I gaze longingly at blouses and shirts but can never wear them because of the gaping. M&S do make those minimizer bras but I have to make the most of the assets I have!

If you are short and fat like me, try black boot cut trousers that fit but are not too baggy or tight, and a fitted but loosish black v neck top with. And always wear heels.
