Fringe and Fascinator - will it look weird?

i have to wear one for races next week. Am having hair cut and coloured saturday and thinking about having a heavy full fringe cut in, at the moment its chin length, dead straight, all one length.

WWYD? Dh reckons it wont go with a fringe

Im going to ascot, i have to wear something and i cant wear a hat bevause they make me look stupid!

I think that the fascinator you linked to will look good with a heavy blonde fringe.
