John Galliano - would you wear his clothing?

Given the furore and sacking of Galliano from Dior for his anti-Semetic rant, would you still wear his clothing? Either Dior designed by him, or his eponymous John Galliano clothing?

I have a coat will never get rid and would wear it regardless.

Pagwatch · 09/06/2011 15:59

I have a dress. It is beautiful. Not giving it away -oh no.

littlemissboden · 09/06/2011 19:38

ofcourse!

frillyflower · 09/06/2011 21:28

Yes I do. So beautiful!

miniwedge · 09/06/2011 21:33

Out of interest, would you still wear it if it had been a disablist rant?

His stuff is beautiful but I would feel like a hypocrite wearing it after his comments.

winnybella · 09/06/2011 21:35

Nope.

Pagwatch · 09/06/2011 21:40

Yes. I probably would.
Because my choice to wear or not is not affected by some measure of how much I disliked what he said. It is to do with whether wearing his stuff would promote or benefits him.
I don't look at the dress and contemplate the designer. It does not have his name on. It bears no obvious relationship to him so does not promote nor advertise him. And I bought it over a year ago.
To stop wearing it would be a futile gesture.

I wouldn't buy anything associated with him now though. My perspective is different.
