I just heard there's 50% off end of the week. I never think to look at their clothes.

Very occasional gem, mostly dire.

i love the stuff in tesco,i buy a lot for the kids in the sale (ages 2,5,7) and myself, nothing fits hubby (he is short and skinny, and their mens 'small' is huge, i have several pairs of jeans (the £8 ones) and cant complain, also lots of tops.
their sales are fab :)

Agree with Cliff. You need to have the time to sort through. I have a gorgeous black one-shoulder jersey dress from there which nobody would believe was a Tesco number. Looks far more expensive and tis very chic. I also find their beach cover-ups can be good and their basic vests.

I have some nice tops from Tesco

50% of you say? thanks for the heads up

CliffTumble · 09/06/2011 17:10

I like the childrens clothes though they are all stupidly big around the waist

I LOVE Tesco.

I have got loads of good stuff from there over the years.

I had a lovely military winter coat which got lots of compliments. Also a tea dress which was a lovely fit (I'm size 6 and 5'1 so often find clothers swamp me!) I've just sent back a red chiffon dress because it was too short (needed it for a wedding) other than the length it was quite a nice dress and was a bargain in the sale at £14.

Shapeless on me. Could just be ME that's shapeless though Wink

sazm · 10/06/2011 09:57

they often have a MUCH better choice online than instore though,i've found some fab stuff online, but our store, although big,has a better choice for the kids.

DotRotten · 10/06/2011 10:59

I quite like their fairtrade cotton Ts. The v-necks are a bit longer that other cheapies.

mippy · 10/06/2011 12:13

I have bought a nice dress from there in the past, and my old housemate (a size 22) said it was one of the few places that wearable clothing for larger sizes. Like anywhere cheap they come up with the occasional lovely thing and the rest is a bit ordinary or not my style.
