I spend WAAAAY more. I would worry that this sounds like bragging, but you did ask . I don't have loads of money, and don't spend a lot on other beauty treatments, but I would cheerfully live on a diet of stale bread and brackish water in order to afford my now manageable, nicely coloured hair.

I looked to change my hairdresser but stopped when I was quoted for £230 for colour only!! I've stuck with my original at £125.

£230 ! what just straight colour no highlights?

If it makes you feel better - I once spent (well DH did) £300 plus on just a trim!!

Which proves that they only look stripey if you have them done cheaply .

I spend £90 having a cut and highlights (not in anyway stripy thankyou ). Always makes me feel slightly giddy & sick but I do look better than when I used to dye it myself (when I spent a fiver and looked & felt like a bag of shit). I think the most I have spent is £125.

My cut n highlights are about £100 a go, not at all stripy, and its the only thing like that I spend on, about every 2 months.

I live in the provinces and pay £47 for a cut, colour with highlights and blow dry by a fantastic hairdresser who understands my hair
