What is your "look"? How has it evolved over the years? Is it a fashion statement (or at least an attempt to keep up with trends), or practicality driven?

Does your hair and makeup evolve with fashion trends, or do you look essentially the same as you have for years?

What does your dh/dp think of how you present yourself? How would he prefer you to look?

I've been thinking about this since seeing an article in the paper. The women featured tried on five different styles, and then said which they liked best. It was interesting to hear how often the look they liked best, was not the look their husbands liked....

I tend to go for fairly classic styles with the occasional nod at high fashion but would never buy something that was "in" if it didn't suit me.

I have become a bit more "girly" since meeting and marrying dh - he loves very feminine clothes, high heels, skirts that show my knees etc. I wear more pink now! Having said that, these clothes do suit me, I guess dh has just given me the confidence to wear them.

As I am tall 5'10" I didn't wear heels in the past but now have loads because dh tends to sulk a bit if I wear flat shoes .

Have to admit though to often wearing jeans during the day for practicality but sometimes changing into a skirt before dh gets home (depending on my mood!). Maybe it's pandering to him a bit, but it puts a smile on his face .
