Tops for big boobs

Anyone with big boobs bought a nice top recently?
Casual or smart, i'm after ideas to update my depressing wardrobe....

Am I the only one lady on Mumsnet with big boobs??? :(

Can anybody suggest anything without me having to trawl round the shops with 3 kids in tow....

I'm actually only a 'DD' cup but like anything that will draw attention away from them iykwim!

I'm a 32FF and just wear normal tops . I can't wear anything with a 'line' under the bust as it normally goes across my nipples. Other than that, just normal tops from Topshop, Primark, wherever really.

Sorry to be no help as have not bought a top for a while but didnt want to read and run - but I have massive boobs and tend to go for cowl necks where possible.

I have big boobs and just wear lots of v necks and scoop necks. Which are available anywhere really. No shirts or high necks. Although I wear polo necks in the winter because I love them and refuse to give them up.

this is the last top I bought. It's hugely dull and boring, but very flattering, and it comes in other colours.

M&S tops I have found, are cut more generously to fit us bigger-boobed ladies. It also has plenty of stretch, so will look fitted and not like a potatoe-sack. Pepperberry has some ok ones too, but it's always trial and error with their clothes.

I also have big boobs but just kinda buy what I fancy and to hell with it .
If it has buttons you can always sew poppers inbetween.
Recent purchases have been this from Boden and this from Monsoon both probably completely wrong for curves but I love them.

I'm an E cup and I can wear lots of tops from Kettlewell because I don't like shopping more than once a year and prefer to repeat a make I find that works.

Personally, having a smaller waist (I go in and out again ) I only ever go for their tops with stretch; a bit like when I was pregnant, I felt a lot slimmer if I showed the bump rather than tried covering it up with a tent!

Having said that, I recently took this one on holiday and wore it over my swim suit as well as out in the evening, and I felt great and relaxed.

I've got friends that look great in this but my body is too short and I feel really fat and if you're OK showing cleavage (I'm not!) then this looks fab!

All Saints . The oversized, floaty styles. When they do small garments, they are really small. But when deliberately oversized...actually accommodates my large boobs, flattering too

I'm DD too (38DD) which is a nightmare to dress, very top heavy as i have long lanky legs. I always look for anything floaty/v-necked then team with slim bottom half to balance out (annoyingly i am two sizes smaller on bottom half anyway..so i share your pain)

Some great links thank you! My wardrobe is so boring! I'm a SAHM and wear jeans and sweaters constantly, I really want to be a yummy mummy! I actually felt far more attractive when I was pregnant with my twins than I do now! :(

lololizzy - same as me! I have really really skinny legs and ankles and feel stupid in leggings etc as I think I look ridiculous!

Anybody bought anything from Pepperberry before?

I have bought from Pepperberry (and from Bravissimo before them) but mostly dresses. I am a 30FF (14-16) up top but a 12 everywhere else.

Quite recently bought this cotton cardi from them, when it's buttoned up it's fitted under the bust with ribbing all the way down, it gives me a great waist.

I have just ordered 2 of their strappy tops with inbuilt bra, never tried that style before and looking fwd to seeing what they are like.

I have a navy cardi from pepperberry- very pleased with the fit (I am 30GG). Some of the stuff is a horrible fit though, so it's trial and error. It's def worth it to get a well fitting dress esp if you're slim hipped (relatively) as a lot of their styles don't suit saddlebags (my problem!).
I wouldn't bother buying basic tees from them, I'm happy with DP/Topshop/H&M for that.

As for Pepperberry, I have some of their shirts and as said, hit and miss. Some are great, others horrible thin wrinkly fabric. Read the reviews before you buy.

I try bravissimo/pepperbury clothes every few years and always come to the same conclusion. They are shit. They wash badly and don't wear well. I bought a fab striped dress there two month ago and after wearing about 6 times it is really bobbly in places. And another dress I bought at the same time has washed so badly that the hem isn't close to being straight. I really must send them both back.

I just bought a fab top from mint velvet but it's out of stock now. Also had some flattering tops/dresses from French connection recently.

i have the square neck top in a pale peach colour and i find it quite a neat fit. it has 2 layers of fabric at the front which is great if you are busty and want to wear a light colour.

I am 34E and don't even bother looking for tops anymore - anything that fits over the bust, is too big everywhere else and makes me look bigger than i am generally, so i live in dresses. Tis annoying!

I had high hopes for Pepperberry, but i've been disappointed by the clothes from Bravissimo, and now Pepperberry just seems to offer more of the same. I looked through the latest catalogue and hated all of it! The fabrics seem cheap, the prints seem horrible...SUCH a shame, because clothing that accomodates larger-than-average boobs is a huge gap in the market, but they don't seem to have come up with the goods.

In the past, i have managed to find fitted shirts that i leave open over the bust and put on a little vest top on underneath - but it's too smart a look for my lifestyle these days!

Oh, and Primark t-shirts seem to have alot of stretch in them, so can fit quite nicely, but they don't last long, unfortunately...

I'm 28F and I agree it's flipping hard to find a nice top .... even harder now I live in NZ.

I've just given up on having a nice tailored blouse ever again. I just buy t-shirts with a decent lycra content in size 10 to ensure they stretch over my boobs and jazz everything up with my collection of very loud necklaces. For casual tunic type tops from whitestuff work really well, but they can be a bit on the small side sometimes so you need to read the on line reviews before buying.

I've had bravissimo/pepperberry dresses a few times and I've been relatively pleased with them, maybe I was just lucky with the dresses I chose. All fitted well and have washed/drycleaned well.

I stick to Uniqlo tees. I'm currently learnign to make my own because I'd like a woven fabric top to actually fit me...
