50's style bikinis

Can anyone help me? I'm after a 50's style bikini to hide stretch marked stomach, but all the ones I've looked at are so expensive! I don't want to pay more than £50 really. Underwiring is a must, so the ones from For Luna won't do (even though they are lovely).

I was going to say sea folly. They have stunning ones but they are more than 50. But they are really well made.

I don't get why the 50's style bikinis and costumes are so bloody expensive though and so hard to find...there are loads of women who don't feel comfortable in a string costume with no underwiring or tummy control.

toast has some 50s style bikinis/costumes - sorry not underwired though and not cheap either! Nice though - I have one from a previous year.

Have you looked at Figleaves?

I loved this from Figleaves- trouble is, they only have the odd sizes left in it now...and it's exactly the sort of thing I'm after.

I think I may have to bite the bullet and pay out for this. Or get DP to treat me

Bigtillymint - it is nicer on the model than on me but very comfy and I feel able to walk around and swim etc without endless tugging and adjusting..

I'm sure you look fab in it Pag, it really is lovely. I know what you mean about the endless adjusting, I need something I can feel 100% confident in and be able to swim in. I'm not one for just lounging in the sun, I like to actually go in the water!

I have tried the Figleaves one and found the bottoms great but top came up small. Don't put the tankini top with the big pants as it doesn't look good though. Great price - wish they had my size!

This is my most wanted bikini (though I want the skirted brief) and thankfully I can't find it anywhere

I LOVE the River Island one morag- and it's only £30! Haven't got my size though, I'm going to have to take a look in my River Island I think...

Try the M&S tummy control mix and match separates.

The shorts are quite 50's esque and the tankini offers good support.
