Just bought a v useful dress from Boden in silk. The underskirt, however, is some form of nylon and it CLINGS chronically to my legs and butt. Is there a guaranteed solution to this or will it stay like that forever?

You can swipe a tumble dryer sheet all over inside

You can spray hairspray all, over inside

Only thing that has ever been effective for me has been wearing a separate slip underneath. But above two tips are always touted in magazines etc so may work for you first.

Ooh thanks.

Any more? I was hoping there was some anti-static gun such as my dear old dad had for his LPs circa 1980 ...

There's a spray called GO STAT that I used recently. I got mine from John Lewis- in the laundry bits area... Worked fine on a v clingy silk wrap dress.

My mother told me at the weekend that if you rub your legs with a babywipe you'll not get any static.

She's is a loon tho.Grin

babywipe Grin

Should say that you spray the GO-stuff on yourself/ tights/ slip not on your dress.
