Purple silk halter neck maxi dress, what shoes? And what to wear if it's cold??

I'm going to a wedding and have a silk purple maxi dress which is halter neck, what shoes should I wear? (I have really wide feet so most sandals too narrow!) and what do I do if it's cold???

It says the colour is ivory - but they had a lovely lilac colour in store today - was quite tempted for my cold scottish wedding.

Otherwise a nice big sized pashmina.

I actually really like that! It is just a bit too expensive though... What colour pashmina do you think? Grey? Was thinking of silver sandals...

Yes you could go a nice silky grey colour and keep your jewellery silvery too. Again M&S had loads of nice pashminas in store (not on the web!) - or tie rack do a good range of colours. M&S also had a lovey big charcoal hat with a dark pink/purple flower on it.

Hmm, if I tried that you could bet I'd stain it or suddenly have a BO problem!!
