help needed for a panicking bridesmaid with not an ounce of fashion sense!

I am bridesmaid to a demanding good friend.

She has chosen and ordered my dress, which to be fair to her, isnt too bad - 3/4 length lavender chiffony affair.

I have lovely swarovski crystal flip flops to wear with it.

bride has now told me she would like me to wear lavender shoes, 1 inch heel.

I have 7 days before the wedding

The bride is 5 foot and size 6. I am 5'6 and size 10/12. Flip-flops would have made me feel less of a giant

what would you suggest?

I think she's kidding herself. To get a matching pair will be very difficult and I personally feel anything that doesn't match will look nasty. Your sparkly ones sound much nicer.
