Nothing really expensive so probably under a tenner, non greasy and that will turn my bumpy rough skin into silky soft and fabulous!

Well I have tried loads and always come back to Palmers Cocoa Butter - very cheap and as good as the expensive Kielhs I reckon.

I use E45 and Nivea Lotion for Dry skin, I've tried all the expensive brands and these really are the best. Neither are perfumed and ok on really sensitive skin plus they are very cheap. Now I only buy pricey ones for the perfume if I'm going out etc

tesco bnatural skin quenching lotion is lovely

IslaValargeone · 04/06/2011 10:50

Aveeno is really, really good.

BulletWithAName · 04/06/2011 12:23

Dark and Lovely. Fantastic stuff!

superv1xen · 04/06/2011 12:25

i like aveeno.

i have tried loads over the years, cocoa butter and bio oil used to be favourites but i prefer aveeno. its only about a fiver.

also pure aloe vera gel is great as well, sometimes i put that on over the top of the aveeno for an extra boost.

Weleda Buckthorne oil - £9.50. very good for skin, smells lovely and leaves a bit of golden sheen.
I mix a little bit with Aveeno Creamy Oli, which is very cheap. Not the tube one though, that leaves a hard film on the skin.

The absolute best ime is Simple Derma which is not expensive - it has transformed the softness of my skin (in conjunction with exfoliating with those scrubby gloves).

Body Shop body butter. Exfoliate first so you get a better result!

roguepixie · 04/06/2011 21:23

Palmers Cocoa Butter and Neutrogena Body Oil - both really really good. Inexpensive and long lasting. Keep coming back to them.

Karbea · 04/06/2011 21:28

Kiehls is the best I've ever tried

laptopwieldingharpy · 05/06/2011 03:27

Yes neutrogena body oil is fab. Apply on damp skin to lock in as much moisture as possible.

You can add sweet almond oil to any body lotion to make it richer.

scrubbing with a homemade paste of sugar and olive oil (+ a few drops of your favorite essential oil) works wonders too.

shopalot · 05/06/2011 14:11

Another vote for kiehls creme de corps. It is wonderful, has transformed my skin.

BulletWithAName · 05/06/2011 16:08

OP did say under a tenner Wink

Bucharest · 05/06/2011 18:31

Nivea for dry skin - use this always, on me and dd.

Body Shop cocoa butter body butter...when I'm passing through the UK.
