Apologies if I am in the wrong place but how do I get all the little bits of 'oos' off my jacket. It looks like it's been through the washing machine with abox of hankies!

are you Scottish, Budd?

anyway, sponge sparingly with cold water only

no detergents

if no luck then ring manufacturer (barbour etc)

Buddhastic · 02/06/2011 11:24

5318008 yes I am...very. Was it the 'oos' that gave me away?

what is an oo ?

'oos' is fluff or kinda like paper tissue that's been in your pocket then gone through the wash, or slut's wool found underbed

HTH

I'm married to a 'fifer' too. But am sure I said that before I met him. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
