Help me to accesorise this dress

I'm planning to wear it to a christening, please don't tell me if you think it's awful !

I'm considering a long summery necklace, and possibly some wedges (the model is wearing some startlingly high wedges), but are there any other footwear options? Can I wear something flat?

I think flat sandals would look good. Either blue or brown/beige colour. I would wear a chunky bangle rather than a necklace tbh and leave the neckline free.

In that case, I think that these are my favourites. I'd like a brown pair as I'd be able to wear them with lots of other clothes.
