I also think I might look like a bridesmaid! Thoughts please?

I'd wear it with gold flats and a long necklace, make it a bit more day dressy

lovely dress.

oooh its lovely. i dont think it looks bridesmaidy on its own, but that does kind of depend what the bridesmaids will be wearing! Stay away from the other thread on maxi dresses!

gregssausageroll · 01/06/2011 13:50

Thank you! I'd go for a longer necklace and possibly something from Lola Rose. I am hopefully going to try it on when in town on Saturday to see if it suits.

I am going shopping with the bridesmaids on Saturday too so will be able to see what is chosen.

might have a look for it myself too greg

UrsulaBuffay · 01/06/2011 13:53

Ooh relieved to have some style sense then!

speculationisrife · 01/06/2011 13:54

That's lovely and I don't think it's bridesmaidy unless the bridesmaids are wearing dark full-length dresses. I think it would look great styled as UrsulaBuffay suggests, too (and I do have style Grin). I just bought a Coast dress for a wedding myself - great fit and quality.

gregssausageroll · 01/06/2011 13:58

Thank you ladies. Not so worried about it now but that will depend on the bridesmaids choice on Saturday morning!

Yep loads of gold accessories. The only accessories the bridesmaids will have is overstyled hair and a bouquet so you'll be fine Smile

Thanks yesterdays.

you just go and buy that dress first and then they wont get anything similar!

Ephiny · 01/06/2011 14:08

It's nice, though I have to say went to a wedding last weekend and the bridesmaid was wearing something quite similar in style and colour! :) That's just a co-incidence though, and otherwise I wouldn't think 'bridesmaid' when I saw it.
