Best budget price cosmetics?

Seriously have to cut my make up budget. I already use Rimmel concealer and nail polish but need to find cheaper alternatives to the other things I use. So can anyone recommend any other items?

At the risk of having one of the other mumsnetters complain about my using the word have you tried Avon? There are often offers to buy multiples of products, or products at reduced prices, if you get chummy with an Avon Rep she may even get you better deals. The products are good quality but very reasonably priced.

Rimmel eyeliner, mascara, and foundation.

Those No.7 £5 off vouchers are great for stocking up on No.7 stuff.

Natural collection powder/bronzer.

Collection 2000 concealer.

Aldi moisturiser and serum, £1.49/£3.99 . Not blowing my own trumpet but I am 40 and people always comment that I look much younger!!! Still need to drop a couple of stone though. ;((

primark's undereye concealer ~ it's fab! great consistency and very good shade. bargain at £2.50!

Natural collection stuff at boots. Have just bought foundation, concealer, lipstick and bronzer all £1.99 each or 3 for £5. Bargain!
Collection 2000 stuff is pretty good too.

If you need to cut your budget, what about using up all the stuff you already have?! So only replacing things that actually run out, like mascara (Rimmel, No7, Mabelline, L'Oreal) and foundation/concealer.

Once you get used to the brush, the Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara is very good. I also really like Max Factor False Lash Effect or Masterpiece Max. I also like some of the M&S Lipsticks.

Good cheap eyeshadows - Barry M, Sleek, Inglot (Polish Make up brand, they have a shop in Westfield, Shepherd's Bush) are all quite popular amongst make up artists.

Charlotte Tilbury's range "MyFace" at Superdrug is supposed to be very good too.

Rimmel 25 hr Lasting Finish foundation is FANTASTIC, dewy coverage and really stays put. Bourjois do the most amazing eyeshadows and blushers, as good as any high end product Ive tried with really high level of pigments which means brilliant colours that last. Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara is hard to beat. For proper creamy lipstick I really like Revlon and L'oreal.

Need a new foundation so will give the Rimmel one a try

I have always found No 7 stuff excellent value for money - especially when you can get the £5 off vouchers, or BOGOFs.

Barbara daly foundation from Tesco is fabulous. A bottle last ages and people always compliment me on how lovely my,skin is.

Yup - Barbara Daly at Tesco. Love the Facelift tinted moisturiser - it is great. And also second the No.7 vouchers - and also look out for the special offers when they have a free make-up bag with sample sizes of Protect and Perfect serum etc. I've never had to buy P&P - just live off the samples!

Boots 17 bronzer (powder for face) is good.
Rimmel Wash off tan (for legs etc when no time for proper job).
Avon concealer stick.
Rimmel stay matte powder

Natural Collection blushers are good.

Aldi is good.

If you are very pale, then Barbara Daly or Revlon Colourstay (though depends if that fits your definition of 'cheap').

Get a good eyeprimer and cheap eyeshadows will work nicely. I'd recommend Everyday Minerals - have a look at the Cocktail Cosmetics website. Cheap mineral make-up that works nicely. However they don't ship from their own site to the UK now, so foundation matching is tricky.

Also, if you buy things from Superdrug and fill in the survey online - look at the back fo the receipt - you get 25% off Gosh etc, and 10% off everything else so good if you need to stock up.
