Unusual coloured baby girl clothes?

fastasleep · 13/11/2005 21:33

I'm sure this has been asked before, but after the embarrassment of finding out that what I thought was a quite posh label was actually from Matalan I need to think of somewhere new to shop! Lol (just kidding)

I really like olive greens and blues and mauves for girls, I'm planning on buying my baby DD clothes for christmas as she'll only be 2 months old, can you reccommend anywhere that isn't incredibly expensive but does unusual clothes? If I could buy some for my DS as well that would be great! (Online would also be a plus, and I don't have time for Ebay at the moment...)

Thankyou! (Sorry for two posts in the same place in 10 minutes!)

Du pareil au meme is lovely, and has a website in English. The prices are maybe a bit higher than H+M, but the clothes are just incredible. They're in france, so shipping isn't really cheap, but it's worth it. Here's their site .

Ooh I like pumpkin patch, thanks for that!

vertbaudet do some lovely items.

NotQuiteCockney · 13/11/2005 21:41

I bought some girl outfits from them last spring, to take to Canada, and was thoroughly thrilled. They do lots of interesting colours - I got one really lovely dress, with matching "knickers" for 9-12m, in brown/green colours.

OOOOH thanks NQC!! Oh dear, better put that credit card away...

Another vote for Pumpkin Patch and Vertbaudet (you can get some good discount codes for Vertbaudet too)

La Redoute is good too.

fastasleep · 13/11/2005 21:46

Thanks Nemo, that was the place I was trying to think of, had the name on the tip of my tongue...

dapm stuff is fantastic. we've bought quite a lot for ds when we've been in france before. and i've just caned my debit card for dd.....

popmum · 13/11/2005 23:05

saw some nice stuff in zara (lakeside) the other day - diff. colours. Not sure about baby size, but def. 2 yrs plus. Was cheapish

aloha · 13/11/2005 23:15

Second the recommendation for Zara. Also try La Redoute (www.laredoute.co.uk), especially the Bonpoint range. Have beautiful sage green trousers for dd, worn with a plum and sage print smock top (she's 9months). Very sophisticated!

MarsLady · 13/11/2005 23:38

Pumpkin Patch all the way. I don't see the point in shopping anywhere else for the kids clothes. Love love love Pumpkin Patch!!!

collision · 14/11/2005 00:04

Where do you get Pumpkin Patch clothes from? Online?

Nbg · 14/11/2005 00:15

I think it's just Pumpkinpatch.co.uk
