Stretching the topic slightly; but where would I get red lycra knickers or very short shorts?

DD's dance dress came without a leotard, so she needs red knickers/shorts

Where on earth would I get some?

Have you tried a dance shop?
Dance direct do cycling shorts or hotpants.

KatyMac · 28/05/2011 09:46

She is 13

I'm not sure next shorts would move easily

Dance direct don't do red

Sorry I went to bed early last night - I was so tired

I have these in red (hot pink). Very stretchy and covers everything - maybe a size 6/8 in some other ladies styles would work?

moragbellingham · 29/05/2011 10:10

these

strawberrymewmew · 29/05/2011 10:15

Milano gymnastics catalogue sell them, and they are meant for dance/gymnastics.

KatyMac · 29/05/2011 14:46

Thanks the Milano ones are perfect

Cheaper red knickers would probably work -

Are you sorted?

If not have you thought about looking for betty boo (or is it boop?) branded knickers? They are likely be red and I bet you would find some hipster shorts style ones

strawberrymewmew · 29/05/2011 15:16

Maybe try Primark? Also Debenhams will red boy shorts. :)

HauntedLittleLunatic · 29/05/2011 15:21

Or a red bikini with shorts might be easier to find.

KatyMac · 29/05/2011 15:29

Milano ones are £11

Bikini is a good idea too

Would it not be easier to just buy her a red leotard?
Much easier to find in dance shops and normally fairly cheap for a plain one.

I used to have to wear a red leotard for one of my dance classes and I was able to buy them for around £6 each.

KatyMac · 30/05/2011 13:29

No because it won't fit under the dress not sure if that will show or not

strawberrymewmew · 30/05/2011 14:05

You're right you would be better with shorts.

Seen in Primark yesterday they are selling red lycra bikini shorts, if you get her a size 8 I am very sure they will fit. Think they were £2.

KatyMac · 31/05/2011 07:33

Primark here I come
