Need help choosing a hairstyle/cut

Have longish hair and am growing our a fringe. Need something relatively low maintenance as I am a lazy slattern

I live in rural North Yorkshire and have virtually no contact with current trends as I watch no TV and rely on Twitter and MN for news.

Am going to two stylish (crucially Southern) weddings in the next 2weeks and as I am pregnant, would at least like my hair to look good.

Appointment tomorrow, lunch time.

Please help

What face shape are you? Long, round, square etc? I am a big believer in hair having to be right for faces rather than just following trends.

Ovalish with a hint of heart

(I live your NN btw. Is it truth or wishful thinking?)

What about a sideswept fringe with a few layers cut in?

Like this.

thanks MummyB - it is a highly ironic posting name as my DS has had sleep problems for years

ok am going to look for styles

sleepingsowell · 24/05/2011 19:45

I think this would suit you

sleepingsowell · 24/05/2011 19:53

I think this is also lovely, hair that flicks out is very flattering I think

MummyBerryJuice · 24/05/2011 20:07

Don't say that! I was hoping mine would grow out of his sleep ishoos. Sad

I quite like your second link. The first looks a lot like my MIL's hair, and the last thing I want to look like is the 1st Mrs DH's Name.

I am sure your DC will grow out of ishoos, they ALL do - except my DS Grin

yes, can quite see why you don't want to model self on the MIL!!!
