What are you supposed to wear on a cold day?

Some of them are definitely the same puff.

Cameron was wearing those skinny leg crumpled ankle type trousers on J Ross last night.

OK if you are 6' with needle pins.

OK, I have yet another skinny jean question. How do you get the boots on over the top? I at last found some in New Look that are not too hideously low cut, and tried them on with stretchy boots, but couldn't get the jeans to lie flat underneath.

gingernut · 12/11/2005 23:45

I used to sew elastic straps on to the bottom of my jeans to go under my feet so my jeans would stay tucked into my pixie boots (way back when). Maybe you could try that frannyandzooey .

frannyandzooey · 13/11/2005 08:12

Maybe I will just ignore this whole skinny jean thing and hope it will go away...

I like the cropped jeans outfit on the RI link. What is going on with those boots in the white mini skirt picture. They look like they have fur leg warmers over the top.

As far as tucking in jeans goes this is why you have to get skinny jeans as the bootcut ones have too much fabric which ruins the fit in the boots. You can get them to fit by pulling the fabric tight and wrapping the excess round your ankle. If the boots aren't long enough though you get it bulking out over the top of the boot. The best fit are skinny, cropped jeans so there's hardly anything to tuck in. It's also easier if your boots are zip up. I have pull on boots and I can only fit skinny jeans into them.

And as for skinny jeans those high heels look dreadful with them, even with the teenage models. I tried ballet shoes with my skinnies but even they look a bit odd. Now only to be worn with boots...

I think the heels look fabbo with the skinny jeans (pics 2nd from left on top row and bottom left). Wouldn't look good with my saddlebags though. Really like top on bottom left too, although not sure how you'd get a bra under it...

like the knee length jeans with silver belt...the rest is pants
