should I get Bobbi Brown Chanel or MAC? Too much choice!! I've never really worn foundation before.

Get Chanel Vitalumiere - amazing stuff.

Wouldn't get Mac Studio Fix. Too chalky. Haven't tried their other ones but I still wouldn't because it always gunges out of the bottle unless you keep it upright.

It depends what you are looking for? Level of coverage, for which skin type etc? Id go to each and ask what theyd recommend for your needs then decide which you prefer.

It depends what you are looking for and which foundation from each brand you mean....

QuinnFabray · 24/05/2011 16:22

How old are you? What's your skin type? What's your budget?

Bourjois foundations are amazing for the price.

I like MAC Mineralize - good coverage and it has a special bottle too so it doesn't leak when it's in your bag or wherever. If it's your first foundation you might want to use one of their lighter ones, though.

Chanel Vitalumiere is a nice light one, and Laura Mercier also do good foundations.

I just got a bobbi brown one, moisturizing for my dry skin. Had to go to the counter for a colour match though.

LankyLegs · 24/05/2011 18:17

Have you thought of Laura Mercier - they are really lovely and moisturising as well and have a range of oil free ones if you suffer from any greasy skin as well, so have a good cross range. Be warned though - price is around £28- £50 depending on what one you go for.

last time I bought chanel they gave me loads of samples to try out before I made the final purchase - very nice ladies

McDreamy · 24/05/2011 18:38

Thank you! I ended up going for the MAC tinted moisturiser and because I have quite open pores I also bought a primer. Really nice lady, spent loads of time with me!
