Got the dress but what to wear over the top?

Hi - I've bought this
dress and I'm wearing it with bright orange shoes that are similar to this in a sort of colour-blocky way - I'm looking for something to go over the top in the evening (wedding in S Europe so will be hot!). Would a light white jacket cut the mustard? Also what colour handbag should I go for? Am taking tiddlers so needs to be massive nappy-snack-and-drink friendly!

Thanks MrsRyanReynolds - might not need anything this time round I guess but will be wearing the dress again at a wedding in England later in the summer so will need something then (no kids there so thinking sparkly clutch for that one). Maybe get DH to take a manbag this time round?!
