my nails are quite short and keep breaking. I am going to a wedding in a few weeks time and don't want them letting me down.
Any recommendations for falsies I can do at home?
Thanks Smile

I've tried pretty much all the falsies on the market (serial nail biter) and honestly, the best I've found are Primark's.

They're £1.50, don't need filing down, and come in clear or 'natural pink'. The glue is strong too, and they don't fall off, which is the issue I've had with more expensive nails.

Thank you, I have got seriously bitten nails and have an interview on Tues, could be tempted.

Really???
I 've looked in boots / super drug and there are so many to choose from.
I'm also worried about losing them!!
Thanks Smile

Any of the Elegant Touch ones you like the look of or any of the Broadway ones.

You buff the nail bed a little with the file they enclose, this will make the glue bond much better than a shiny nail surface.

You just stick them on, they are really good. If you want a very natural look find something called "slim tip" (it basically means the white bit on the french is a thinner line more like a natural nail)

I wear these a lot because I dont have time to go to the salon and people are always surprised when I tell them that I do them myself.

if you have a savers near you their £1.49 nails are the best ive found for me, fit nicely and don't look so horribly fake. i normally cut them down so they don't look fakey fake iyswim!

No savers near me but thanks.

Agree with Tatty- I'm especially a big fan of Broadway 'real short' which, unsuprising, are fairly short and natural looking. Your hands look nicely manicured but you don't look like a mentalist when trying to get coins out of your purse or whatever.

I'll look for broadway ones then, I certainly don't want them to look too un natural!!
