BarryM V Chanel nail varnish

After being recommended the Dusky Mauve by BarryM as a direct rip off of Chanel Paradoxal I have bought and applied it today and can confirm it to be true yay! :)

While I was there today buying my paradoxal rip off I came accross Red Black from BarryM and can confirm this is also a great rip of off Chanel Rouge Noir!

So just thought Id pass this on while boots have BarryM nail paint on 2 for £5 Wink

The only thing I dont know, is if it lasts well - I can imagine the chanel one to have supreme staying and anti-chip powers Grin

Actually I find Chanel nail varnish to be shit as a rule. Takes about 3 coats to look decent and is very easily chipped! Wonder if Barry M do a suitable Mimosa?

Agree also that Chanel is crappola (but looks perdy on the dressing table).

I find BarryM not too bad at all. My only complaint is that the brushes are extremely thin, so need at least 5 strokes to cover whole nail. No experience of Chanel. Definitely prefer Rimmel to BarryM but 2 for £5 - why the heck not??!!

Chanel nail varnish is not worth the small fortune price you pay for it IMHO. Ironically, the best nail varnish I have found is Rimmel and Collection 2000, both cheap as chips. Rimmel is especially impressive in its staying power.

BarryM is good too, especially for trying out new shades like yellow (looks like you have fungus on your nails) and jade (see previous comment). Not that I tried any new-fangled colours, no sirree

I bought a couple of BarryM yesterday (a pink glittery one and a red glittery one - at my DDs's insistence). I think they're rubbish TBH. They are so rough on the nail, not a nice feeling at all.

I did my nails with Boots 17 Peacock the other day, thinking it would last 24 hrs, tops - was glossy and chipfree 5 days later. Although i did slap a coat of Seche Vite on top; it makes any crap nail varnish last a lot longer.
