Augmenting breast size naturally and without surgery - is it possible?

Having lost a considerable amount of weight (several stone) my previous generously proportioned breasts have dwindled to saggy poach eggs. It is making me a bit self conscious and uncomfortable - perhaps that sounds shallow to some but there it is....Are there any evidence based ways of improving breast size without surgery? I have read about herbal remedies (creams for rubbing or pills for oral ingestion) designed to increase oestrogen and 'finish the work that puberty didn't complete' which could be a load of phooey! Does anyone know anything about this subject?

heh heh.

I think it's surgery or nothing. A friend of mine just had hers lifted and I must say she's thrilled and looks great.

Congratulations on the weight loss! Weight training will give them better support and hence make them look better in a perkier kind of way. Less drastic than surgery.

colditz · 21/05/2011 18:26

the only way, I'm afraid, is to put weight on.

hi there, I have tried everything, from the herbal remedies, those god awful suction cones that cost a fortune and I have still little boobs. If you do find anything please let me know. I am currently trying to talk dp into letting me have surgery. I would love one before I am forty in two years xx

ZZZenAgain · 21/05/2011 21:49

I don't see how creams could work really, do you? Pills to increase oestrogen ? - No idea

Hope you find something you are happy with but I suspect that only padding them out would do it

Sorry, don't mean to take the piss, well, maybe a little... Nope, 'tis surgery or nothing.

Depending on healthboard, you might be eligible for surgery on the NHS if you have a lot of excess skin after considerable weight loss.

My boobs have grown having had the Mirena coil in for a while, but so has the rest of me tbh.

Marking place with my saggy puppies. (,)(,)

OneBadAsp · 22/05/2011 00:10

if you find anything useful, chuck it this way will you! i HATE my boobs, or lack of, try not to think about it, but always catch myself staring at other women's boobs longingly! going to get me into big trouble soon! Blush

does not help by sometimes being able to buy bras from the teen sections! Blush

Obviously only makes a difference with your clothes on but I've found these to be something special: 2 sizes bigger

They really do work!

morningpuffs · 22/05/2011 09:44

i dont see any way really. but i think we should all be happy with the breasts we have and be beautiful in our own way without needing surgery. :) its just one of those things in life that we have to get used to im afraid... xx

Enigma · 22/05/2011 10:49

Ah - I thought as much surgery or weight gain!!!

I might go for the 'lift' option in surgery (not so drastic) - rather small and perky than small and saggy. Thanks for the links - at least looking more feminine when dressed rather than boyishly flat might help a little....

I think my current preoccupation is tied in with mid life crisis and fear of ageing (tries to pyschoanalyse self)

OneBadAsp - I stare at other women's boobs longingly too!

morningpuffs - you are right of course, but it's never so simple is it unfortunately

I too have boob envy - especially when I see a nice cleavage... don't think I've ever had a cleavage. I am a AA-AAA cup, so buying bra's are a nightmare for me, so if this one works I will be a happy bunny :)
