I did find some somewhere. I think Jojo maman bebe might do some and perhaps Next.

Vertbaudet did do shorter trousers, but I haven't been pg for 7+ years so that might have changed.

Have a look here.

yes they do, definitely, I found nice things but so long ago now, can't remember the brands

They do but they are hard to come by. I'm similar size to you, 5ft, size 8. I had some nice Next Petite Maternity stuff but even most of the larger shops don't stock much. I got some lovely things from Blooming Marvellous, though just realised to my horror that they've been taken over by Mothercare. You could try them - I haven't looked at their maternity clothes for 4 years so don't know what they have nowadays.

I used Ebay for most of my maternity wear in the end as there was so little available in my size in shops.

Not in many shops and definitely won't set the fashion world alight, but have a look online at M and S maternity stuff - they do short length maternity trousers etc like their main range and are good for basics for work. i have three pairs of short black maternity trousers and a pair of jeans and they have lasted me three pregnancies (so far!) (although I wouldn't say I have ever been one of those stylish PGers....)

Seraphine aren't petite but are actually OK on smaller women - I'm only 5 feet and really liked my stuff from there (Isabella Oliver drowned me). Even their dresses were OK. They're expensive, and you'd still have to have the trousers turned up, but you can get them on E-bay easily for a much more reasonable price. They keep their value pretty well as well: I resold a lot of mine for pretty much what I paid for them.

Ah hahahahahahahahahaha NO. How far along are you? Which brands fit you well normally? I was 5'1" sz 6 when I got pg, I liked Gap and Next and sometimes H&M. If you're less than 6 months though I wouldn't buy too much, you may be a different size when you're 8.5 months and you don't want to have blown your wad on size 8s from isabella oliver.

planestrainsautomobiles · 21/05/2011 21:15

Have you tried GAP maternity - I'm same size as you and their XS looked great on. I also got some really nice things from Mamas & Papas who stock Size 8 and was a good fit.
