I have received an email inviting me for an interview (medical-type degree), deferred start so won't commence till September 2012.

Stats: 5'3", 29 years old (look about 24), long dark hair (needs a trim), 6 months pregnant (largeish bump).

Shops near me stocking maternity wear - Dorothy P's, New Look, Debenhams, Next, White Stuff, BHS...

Budget - up to £100?

I already have smart black trousers I can wear, and potentially a black suit jacket - too formal?

What top can I put with it?

Should I get a new outfit entirely?

Obviously I know I can't conceal bump but would rather it wasn't the first thing the interviewers noticed about me!

Oh and any ideas on comfy shoes would be appreciated Grin

TIA!

I would wear a dress with the black jacket. Something like this or this

You could wear with flat pumps like this

I like the dresses that tethers has suggested, and they would both work with the jacket you have.

I don't think you need to wear a jacket for a uni interview, but medical types do tend to be smarter than other academics so you wouldn't feel overdressed. If it makes you feel they will notice you first rather than the bump, then wear it. You could wear a simple vest or short-sleeved top under the jacket.

Another option would be to wear a blouse with the black trousers, like this floral one.
