Anyone use Clinique Perfectly Real foundation or others in a similar tube with this problem...

I've been using this for years and did an 'experiment' a few days ago to see how much was actually left in the tube after the last bit has been squeezed out, so I cut it open. Can't believe there's still a few weeks worth in there! But now I've cut it open, it's starting to dry up (despite blue peter style cellotape job trying to re-seal it). Yesterday, think I got away with wearing it for the last time without looking like I'd trowelled it on. Any tips for getting that last bit (or lot!) out of the tube and keeping it fresh??

have you got a smaller pot that you could decant it into?

I haven't, but that's a good idea. Any idea where I can get a small pot that's suitable for this sort of thing?

I always do this....chop the bottom off and decant into a little pot.

I either use ones from freebie "gift with purchase" (contents used) little pots or, Saver shop do some cheap ones. I NEVER just throw out a tube without using every last bit!
