It is for a black tie do I'm thinking navy shrug and maybe navy wedges?

I think the dress looks a little informal for a black tie event. I have a very cheap black jersey maxi dress that looks fab when dressed up with some sparkly jewellery.

Lovely dress - but agree - better for a garden party than a black tie do.

The material has a silky feel to it that I think makes it look less informal? I reckon can be dressed up or down? It is a school leaving ball, (I'm not leaving school just married to a teacher!!)

I think the dress would be ideal for the occasion. If you're wearing it on its own I'd suggest the Imirie earrings here, with navy I think the Kiri earrings on the same page would complement the dress really well ... and they're both on sale at the moment :)
