Prom dresses help help

12 yr old average height stick insect dd needs a prom dress. She has shown me 400 on the internet to each of which I have said, "That's lovely, dear," apart from some pink horrors.

I have told her she can get whatever one she wants (within price reason), but she wants help.

I am rubbish at all this. Where can she look for some good dresses? She wants short ones, not those bridal affairs.

Please help, pore ol dd needs you.

why does a 12 yr old need a prom dress?
my dd wore a short prom dress..she got it from tk maxx if i recall...she looked amazing
you may find it difficult because of her age...do you know anyone who could make one for you?

Er, because she is leaving her school and they are having a mad over the top prom thing.

My then 11yr old dd also got a prom dress from TKMaxx (same thing - moving on to a new school)

wow proms at primary school !!!
well...depending on her figure you may get away with a size 4 or 6...if you have time you could look on american ebay selllers..? or try your local tk maxx or buy one and get someone (local seamstress) to alter it?
